Three layouts for four photos
The 2 × 2 grid is the classic four-photo collage: four equal square frames in a square image, ready for Instagram or a square print. The feature layout gives the first photo a large square frame with three smaller frames stacked beside it, so one picture leads the story. Four in a row uses tall, narrow frames, which suit portraits of four people or a sequence such as the seasons.
Crop or keep every edge
Fill mode crops each photo around its center to cover its frame, so check faces near the edges, especially in the narrow row layout. Fit mode keeps the whole photograph and adds white space where its shape differs from the frame.
What size is the download?
The 2 × 2 grid exports at 2,400 × 2,400 pixels, which prints as an 8×8 at 300 PPI. The feature and row layouts export at 2,400 × 1,600, a 3:2 shape that prints as a 6×4 at 400 PPI or a 12×8 at 200 PPI.
